How can an “Original Print” be a “Limited Edition?

  1. I have an early signed print of Morriseau’s, called “Nature Communication”, number 33/48.
We are currently in the process of downsizing, and do not have room for this painting/print in our new home.

The print is mounted, under glass, and the frame is a natural wood colour

As such, we wish to sell it, and are wondering what value it would have.

    • We get calls and emails all the time asking us to give opinions and valuations for their art. There are up to 20 characteristics that make up a valuation range, many of which people do not even know about or consider – its like being asked what (insert vintage car make and model) it can be a rust bucket to pristine. never driven, or anywhere in between, all with different values. We are a business and charge $50 for a print evaluation, and fees starting at $150 and up on originals, and while we lose money on each, it separates the serious potential clients from those looking for freebies that do not consider the efforts and time it takes to build up our database and wealth of information as well as stay on top of constantly changing market values, let alone the evaluation itself. Should you wish to proceed with our services, please reply, otherwise thank you for understanding our business position and time valuation.
      Best,
      Steve.
